Heart Braided Hairstyles & Valentine's Day/ Fishtail

<3 Heart Braided Hairstyles <3

Well, Valentine's Day coming, so I was inspired of love, and I wanted to help you all out there, who want to celebrate love, to create a beautiful hairstyle, in a heart shape, so you can fit with the rest of your preparation for the big day, for all in love... and everybody else... Let's started :

Prepare you hair :

Brush through your hair to get all the tangles out and make it soft, smooth and ready to braid. If you want, you can place small amount of liquid crystal, or some hair oil, which you are using for your hair. This can help you to braid your hair much easier.

To create this hairstyle, you will need :
  • Wide-tooth comb
  • Hair clip
  • Ponytail holders
  • Elastic (few colored or not)
  • Flexible hold hairspray

Starting with dry hair , use a wide-tooth comb to detangle the hair. Then, tied up half of the hair (front part until above the ears) with ponytail holders or elastic.

Divided into two parts (your ponytail) and start to braid Fishtail with both parts, so in the end you will have two Fishtails.

When you finish braiding Fishtails, tied them with elastic, so they don't undone. But just before you tied them, if you want them to look bigger, you can make them loose, until you get that what you want.

So, braided, made it loose, tied up, and in the end just connect them.... And taadaa..  You have Heart Braided Fishtail.
This Style will be easier if you know how to braid Fishtail, if you don't know, don't worry, you can do this shape with regular braid.

Enjoy your life, love your life, love yourself, celebrate and cherish love. Have a blessed day.

Sincerely Yours Tatjana

Mix of Different Braid Styles

Mix of Different Braid Styles

Like you can notice, I love to play with hair, as well I love braiding. Here we have Dutch Braid, French Braid, French Fishtail Braids, Fish Ponytail Braids. Hope you like it and may I give you some ideas. I like this hairstyle, simply because if you want you can wear only one of those tipes of styles, it will looks perfect, trust me.
Here we go...

Now this is our model
Here we have long hair, colored hair in few shades.

Preparation :

  • Rattail Comb ( the long handle on this type of comb makes sectioning hair to create cool braids or a flawless curl set a total breeze)
  • Liquid Crystals (the quaternized silicone creates a screen that, moisturising and giving volume to hair, carries out an immediate softening action, apply on a wet hair and do not rinse)
Wash it, dry it, brush it and move on.

This is how I start.

Side Braids

I have started with Mini French Braids, you will find them like Cornrow Braids, or Side Braids. I made those braids until the top of the head, because we wanted to finish this style with a tail.
But even if you leave your hair like this, you will not make mistake.

I made three mini french braid, next to each other, neat and tight, and they go straightto the top of the head, and they have straight line. Again, I have in my example this, but you can play with them how you like. :)

Here we have other side of the head.

So, as you can see, first we have straight braids, mini french braids, now they are still Mini Frensh Braids, it's just this time I did criss- cross just to look more interesting for everyone .

I start to braid all the braids and somewhere in the middle I stop and then decide where to go with them.

Them finishing them on the top of the head somewhere in the middle and to be close to the braids from the other side, so we can connect them all together, with elastic, or if you want you can do that later with all hair  together.

Again , if you want you can kept this braids and style, it is really your choice. :)

Third Step

Upside Down Dutch Braid to Ponytail

A dutch braid trailing up the back of the head and ending in a ponytail.

Start by flipping the head over to work with the hair underneath.
Take a small section of hair at the nape of the neck and divide it into three pieces. Cross the side strands under the middle to begin a regular braid.
Cross the side strand under the middle then bring in a section of hair and add it into the strand.
Cross the other side strand under the middle, bringing in hair again.
Continue braiding the hair in a dutch braid until it reaches the top of the ears.
Tie off the braid to keep it from coming undone.

Top or front of the head

French Fishtail Braid

Begin by taking a three inch section of hair, on the heavy side of the part, and divide it into two halves.
Take a small section from the back strand and cross it over to the other side.
Then take a smaller strand from the front section and cross it over to the other strand.
Next, take a section of hair from the outside of the braid.
Cross the strand over to the top and add it into the other side.
Next, take a piece from the other side. Cross the strand over the top and add it into the other strand.
Tie the braid with elastic, and again, tie  all the others braids together, so you will create a ponytail.

Last part

Fishtail Ponytail

Since  we tie all braids together, and we have ponytail, we braided two fishtails on this ponytail, and than twist them together, and in the end tie off the braids to keep it from coming undone.

This is what we have done.

             Supplies:
  • Brush
  • Few black or white elastic band ( you can use even colored)
  • Hairsprey ( it is not needed)
  • Moroccan Argan Oil , Liquid Crystals.

This is what we have in the end, I hope you like it and hope you will follow me for more ideas, and if you have any questions, fell free to ask me.
Thank you all. Have a fabulous day.

Sincerely Yours Tatjana

Few ways of Corset Braiding

I was thinking a lot, from where to start, where to finish, I have so many ideas to show you how to do, what to, where to do, with the braids of course, and I hope this examples will be useful for you.

       Corset Braids (Headband)

This way of braiding you can use in Waterfall braids too. I like this hairstyle because you can wear them everywhere, for school, for work, everyday stiling..., in this exsample, kids fashion, back to school...  Now here we have mini french braids, two, braided next to each other, so they look like headband, so I decided to do mix and. taa daa, we have beautiful Headband Corset Braids.

                                                  Two French Corset Braids

This is same like previous pictures, only thing different here is braiding all hair, not just part of it. Now it is all about taste, choose which you like and do it, everything else is same, leaving small sections hair from one braid, while you braiding and in the next one just took over and place it inside next one, and you have it. Enjoy  :)
